Paint Mix Jam Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026 (ads added)

This policy explains what data the Paint Mix Jam game ("the game", "we") collects, why, and what you can do about it. The game is published on Google Play by Novium Development (Rapai Balázs, Hungary). You can reach us at info@binarystack.net.

In short: you do not need an account, we never ask for your name or email in the game, and we never see your payment details. We collect gameplay statistics and crash reports to improve the game, we use Google Play Games to back up your progress if you sign in, and the free game shows ads through Google AdMob.

What we collect and why

DataWhyWho handles it
Game progress (level, coins, boosters, settings, purchases you own) So you keep your progress. It is stored on your phone; if you sign in to Google Play Games, a copy is saved to your Google account so you can restore it on a new phone. Your device; Google (Play Games Saved Games)
A player ID: your Google Play Games player ID, or a random ID created on your phone if you are not signed in To link your purchases, saves and statistics to the same player. Google, RevenueCat, PostHog
Gameplay events (for example: level started, won or lost, boosters used, rewards claimed, purchases made) with device and app information (phone model, operating system, app version, language) To understand which levels are too hard or too easy and to improve the game. IP addresses are discarded and we do not record your screen. PostHog (EU servers)
Crash reports: the error, where it happened in the code, phone model, operating system and app version To find and fix crashes. Crash reports are set up not to include personal information. Sentry (US servers)
Advertising data: your phone's advertising ID, device and app information, rough location from your IP address, how you interact with ads, and your consent choice To show ads: videos you choose to watch for a reward, and short ads between some levels. Ads are personalised only if you agree. Google AdMob and, with your consent, its ad partners
Purchase information: which product you bought, when, the price and the store's transaction details To deliver what you bought, check that the purchase is valid, and restore it (for example "No Ads") on reinstall. Google Play (payment), RevenueCat (validation)

Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive your card or bank details.

Reminders (for example, that your daily reward is waiting) are scheduled on your phone. No data leaves your device for them, and you can turn them off in your phone's settings.

The game downloads its settings (such as prices and how often an ad break comes) from our analytics provider. This does not send any extra data about you.

Advertising

The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: videos you can choose to watch for a reward (for example, to continue a level), and from level 11 a short ad between some levels. Buying "No Ads" removes the ads between levels; reward videos stay optional.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the game asks for your consent before ads are personalised, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in the game: Settings → Privacy choices. If you do not agree, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads, as its policies allow.

You can also reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

Legal basis (for players in the EU and UK)

We process data to provide the game and what you buy in it (performance of a contract), and to keep the game stable and improve it (our legitimate interest in a working, enjoyable game). Personalised advertising is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings → Privacy choices. You can object to analytics at any time by writing to us.

Service providers

Some of these providers store data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. They protect such transfers with the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We do not sell your data, and we share it only with the providers above.

How long we keep data

Game progress stays on your phone until you uninstall the game, and in Google Play Games until you delete it there. Analytics and crash data are kept only as long as we need them to improve the game, and are deleted automatically according to our providers' retention periods. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it. Write to info@binarystack.net; we answer within 30 days. Because we do not know your name or email, tell us roughly when you played and on which phone, so we can find your data.

To delete everything on your side: uninstall the game, and delete the Paint Mix Jam data in the Google Play Games app (Settings → Delete Play Games account and data, or the game's saved data).

If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Hungary this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (naih.hu).

Children

Paint Mix Jam is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will also let you know in the game.
